- Who will be my contact person once we begin our
project?
We assign a knowledgeable and highly-experienced
project manager as your contact person. Your project
manager will work very closely with you to document
the details of your project, answer all of your
questions, provide you with frequent progress
reports, and ensure your project remains on
schedule. You will be provided with the direct phone
number, email address and Instant Messenger IDs for
your project manager for your communication
convenience.
- Will I be able to see and interact with my
project as it is being developed?
Absolutely! You will receive a user ID and password
that allows you to log in to our Clients area. The
clients area provides you with a progress log
(showing detailed progress on your project) and a
link to your project on our test server where you
can view your project at any time.
- How long does it take you to construct a
professional website from scratch?
It really depends on the scope of the project and
the services or features required as well as the
ability for our clients to provide timely feedback
and/or materials. We have the ability to create and
market a professional website in as little as 6
weeks if you can provide us with prompt feedback and
any necessary materials. If third-parties are
involved like banks and eCommerce gateways, more
time is often needed. We always provide an estimated
timeline as part of our services agreement. If you
have a short timeline, we can often make excellent
recommendations for what is needed to launch on
time.

360 IMPACT is the parent company of Fast Internet
Success. 360 IMPACT has customers in 14 countries
including the United States, Canada, Mexico, United
Kingdom, Australia, Spain, Norway, Brussels, Turkey, Switzerland,
Taiwan, Sweden, Italy, Belgium and South Africa.
In 2004, 360 IMPACT transitioned all global website
and search engine marketing customers to Fast
Internet Success and now focuses exclusively on
product development. We utilize some of 360 IMPACT's
web development products in our customers websites
(when applicable) at no additional charge to our
customers. In addition, we are able to provide our
clients with some products which are incredibly
useful but not yet publicly available such as 360

We currently employ 26 people including 21 Internet
experts, and 5 customer service and sales support
staff. In addition, we maintain a network of over 35
pre-qualified and highly experienced Internet
professionals we can pull from on-demand if the need
arises. We have taken the time to pre-qualify the
individuals in our on-demand network by verifying
education, experience, references, past projects,
and so on.
Fast Internet Success has 3 Project Managers each of
which can handle up to 3 projects. That means we are
able to handle 9 simultaneous projects. In addition,
each Project Manager has a team of 5 Internet
experts including 2 programmers, 1 designer, 1
online marketing expert, and 1 information architect
(but it is common to pull resources from another
team if they aren't being fully utilized on other
projects.) We have 2 writers and an additional
designer on staff that work across teams. Finally,
Fast Internet Success maintains a network of
highly-qualified programmers and designers that we

breakdown of the design and development team roles:
Project Managers (3) - Each Project
Manager has a minimum of 7 years of website design
and development experience and have demonstrated the
ability to manage $20,000 (and higher) projects.
They also have 4-year degrees in a related field
(Computer Science, Design or Business.) Our Project
Managers are extremely knowledgeable regarding all
aspects of website design, development and online
marketing. The Project Managers provide Live Support
and create quotes/estimates for clients. Each Fast
Internet Success client is assigned a Project
Manager that will be their sole point of contact
with Fast Internet Success. Your Project Manager
will work with you one-on-one to help you make the

Internet Programmers (6) - Our
Internet programmers each have 4-year degrees in
Computer Science or related program and have a
minimum of 5 years website development experience in
ASP and ASP.NET. In addition, all of our programmers
are skilled at database design and development. Each
programmer has the capability to work with advanced
APIs, and can program in multiple languages. We
specialize in C#, VB.NET, C++, and VB. In addition,
we are skilled in Javascript. Our primary
programming software is Visual Studio .NET
Creative Designers (4) - Our Creative
Designers each have a 4-year degree in Creative
Design or a related field and have a minimum of 5
years website design experience. Our Designers are
skilled with design software such as Photoshop,

Online Marketers (3) - Our Online Marketers
focus primarily on Search Engine Optimization and

Search Engine Marketers), but also provide link

and management, and so on. Within each of these
areas there are sub-specialties such as keyword
analysis, persuasive architecture, online
conversion, etc. Each Online Marketer has a 4-year
degree in Marketing or an Internet related field of

use multiple software applications, along with internal and

Website Design Service Questions
- How do you ensure your designs will meet our
needs?
Our process was developed in a way to ensure your
complete satisfaction with every aspect of your
project. When your project first begins, we provide
you with a special questionnaire that helps us
quickly understand your needs and the needs of your
website audience.
This questionnaire provides us with the strong
initial guidance we need to create a design that
meets your basic requirements. From there, we fine
tune until you are are satisfied. If you don't like
the initial design at all, we gather additional
information about how to better meet your needs and
we create a new design. This process continues until
we have met your satisfaction.
Once you are delighted with your website design, we
proceed with the remainder of the project and ask
for your feedback and approval at each stage until
completion.
- Do you ever use "web templates" as a basis for
your designs?
Many website design firms simply use "web templates"
that are commonly available from websites like
Template Monster and do little more than put
your logo on the site, change button names, and so
on. This is fine for a personal website or a website
that is for informational purposes only...but don't
expect any sales.
With web templates, your site looks very similar to
a few hundred other websites in your same industry
(legal, finance, hotels, restaurants, travel, etc)
Websites built using web
templates look like templates and don“t really
reflect the image of your company. Furthermore, web
templates are not conducive to a
strong visitor experience and will hurt your
potential for sales.
That is why Fast Internet
Success customizes each design for our clients from
scratch based exclusively on your needs and the
expectations of your target market.
- How long does the design process take?
The design process generally takes 2
to 4 weeks depending on how fast you can get
feedback to us. Most designs are completed in about
3 weeks, but we will work on your design until you
are completely satisfied. Remember, your design is a
critical element of your Internet success and it is
very important to get it right.
- What software tools do your designers use?
Our design team primarily uses Adobe
Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks, Macromedia Flash,
Macromedia Dreamweaver and
Microsoft Frontpage. However, they sometimes use
other tools for special purposes. In addition, we
use Cascading Style Sheets, Javascript, DHTML and
other technologies to create a high-quality

- What is Search Engine Marketing?
Search Engine Marketing means putting your website
in front of your target market when they are using
Internet search engines to find products and
services like yours.
We use a combination of "organic" search engine
marketing and pay-for-performance search engine
marketing for fast results. Organic search engine
marketing involves helping the search engines to
find your website and creating an environment
conducive to proper categorization and stronger
rankings. This involves search engine optimization,
link building, manual search engine and directory
submissions, and so on.
Since organic search engine marketing can take
months before you start seeing results, we can also
assist clients with pay-for-performance strategies
that bring instant visitors to your site for a small
fee per visitor (5 cents and up.) This strategy
allows you to get visitors to your website while
waiting for organic results to kick in, or
supplement organic results with complementary

You've probably seen advertisements or spam that
claims you can get your website submitted to
hundreds of search engines, well the truth is that
the top search engines are used by over 92.77% of

Internet users. These are the engines that must be
focused on for you to gain a steady stream of high
quality visitors to your website. Simply submitting
your website to hundreds of search engines will do
absolutely nothing for your business and is a waste
of your money (imaging your website being a straw in
a haystack of several billion other websites.)
For this reason, Fast Internet Success focuses on
only the top search engines and directories
including: Google, Yahoo, MSN, AltaVista, AOL, DMOZ,
Netscape, Lycos, AllTheWeb, Looksmart, Hotbot,

- What is your search engine marketing process
like?
When your project first begins, we provide you with
a questionnaire that helps us understand your
business, your products/services, and a bit about
your audience and competition. We utilize this
information to create a search engine strategy that

Briefly, Keyword Analysis involves performing

Search Engine Optimization involves fine-tuning the
pages and content in your website so that it clearly
matches these target keywords, and allows the search
engines to properly categorize and rank your site
better in their search engines. Often this will help
your company appear towards the upper end of search
results when users type the target keywords or
phrases.
Search engines are increasingly using inbound and
outbound links for your website to determine the
relevance or importance of your website. For that
reason, it is often important to create and execute
a link building strategy. Google gives inbound and
outbound links to your website a lot of weight when
determining where your website is listed in their
search results.
Also, a link to the wrong kind of website like
link farms or free-for-all (FFA) websites can get
your entire domain banned from major search engines.
So link building is very important, but needs to be
done with care. Getting a link from a site with a
higher pagerank (the Google relevance rating) and
relevance to your site has
more weight than a site with a low page rank and or
low relevance...and
be weary of sites with a zero page rank as they may
have been banned and may not even exist in the
search engine databases.
Finally, our Search Engine Marketing process
involves manually (always better than using
software) submitting your site to major search
engines and directories. We also assist with
recommending or implementing pay-for-performance
search engine marketing alternatives if you are
interested in immediate results for your website.
How long does it take to begin seeing results
from search engine marketing?
Most search engines have a long backlog of sites
they need to index before they can get to new
submissions. For that reason, it can take three
months before your website begins to appear in top
search engines like Google, MSN, Yahoo, AltaVista
and so on.
The pay-for-performance alternatives can generate
results within one week and allow you to specify how
much you want to pay and indicate a daily or monthly
budget you want to stick to. When using
pay-for-performance or pay-per-click opportunities,
it is very important which keywords you target and
how your title and descriptions are written so that
you don't waste a lot of money on visitors that will

- Does your company utilize ethical search engine
practices exclusively (no-Spam)?
Absolutely, we understand and completely abide by
ethical search engine practices and the content

There is never any risk of your website being banned
from search engines as a result of our services.
This may not be the case when using amateur firms
(and not because they maliciously try to trick
engines, but often due to innocent mistakes that
come from lack of knowledge and experience.)
- What are the risks associated with using "search
engine software" and amateur firms?
The biggest risk is having your domain name banned
from the major search engines forever, while zero
results comes in at a close second place. Using
software isn't necessarily bad, but the software
won't optimize your site...it only submits your site
to the search engines. That means that while your
website will be in the search engine databases, it
will simply be one site out of a few billion. To
gain top search engine rankings, you MUST use search
engine optimization along with a strong link
building campaign plus search engine marketing.
It is best not to trust your search engine marketing
efforts to amateurs as they rarely have a
comprehensive understanding of search engine content
guidelines or practices that can get your website
eliminated from search engines forever.

- What kind of functionality are you able to
create for my website?
Fast Internet Success can create any type of
functionality for your website from simple email and
database forms to real-time credit card processing
and much more. Our staff have integrated websites
with mainframe computers, proprietary software,
telephone systems and even satellite.

- What programming languages and technologies do
you use?
Our staff have experience in over 8 programming
languages, but our focus is on C# and VB.NET. These
are modern Microsoft .NET Framework languages that
are completely object-oriented and offer incredible
advantages over older languages.
We focus on
ASP.NET website development (the most powerful
and greatest performing web technology in existence
today) and also utilize Cascading Style Sheets (CSS),
JavaScript, Dynamic HTML (DHTML), and XML.
ASP.NET comes with a lot of built-in functionality
that allows us to provide you with significant
capabilities in minimal time, which lowers your
costs while giving you more value.
- Will my website be cross-browser compatible?
Absolutely! All of the websites we design are tested
with Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla FireFox,
and Opera browsers. We are also able to perform
browser detection and alter your websites
functionality to ensure it works with less-capable
browsers.
For instance, the animated Flash header on our
website uses "Flash Transparency" which at the time
of this writing is not viewable in FireFox or Opera.
We are able to detect when a user is visiting our
website with one of these browsers and dynamically
turn off the Flash Animation. So these users see our
website the same way, except they don't get the
animation because their browsers don't support it.
- What other standards does your firm
adhere to?
Many website design and development
companies continue to use depreciated HTML tags in
the websites they develop rather than utilizing
modern Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
and (Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language)
DHTML. This inflates your web
pages with useless tags and
creates more "code" for search engines to
read through before reaching your important content.
It also increases the size of web pages which can
cause pages to take longer to load.
Fast Internet Success utilizes CSS and DHTML
so that your website is easier to maintain, loads
faster, and is more search engine friendly. CSS
allows you easily manage the font sizes, colors,
table widths and much more from a single location.
We also limit table nesting to a maximum of 3
levels while generally not exceeding 2 levels, and
we specify table widths in pixels when appropriate.
These techniques allow the pages on your website to
render faster for your visitors.
- What software tools do your programmers use?
Our primary programming tool is Visual Studio .NET,
but we also use many other applications like ASP.NET
Web Matrix, FrontPage, and a number of special
controls and components. We use Microsoft SQL Server
as our primary database of choice, but also use MSDE
(the free version of SQL Server), MySQL, and
Microsoft Access when requested.

eCommerce Questions
- Who needs eCommerce (credit card processing)
capabilities on their website?
Most websites can get by without eCommerce
capabilities, but if you are selling products that
can easily be purchased online...you will increase
your sales by accepting payments directly from your
website.
There are many options for accepting online
payments. In addition, you can choose to have a
product catalog if it makes sense or simply allow
users to purchase an individual product by filling
out a single form.
- Will I need a "Merchant Account"?
A merchant account is a wise choice if you expect to
be processing a lot of transactions, or if you want
the ordering process to be as seamless/transparent
as possible for your customers. Having a merchant
account allows you to process the transaction
completely on your website.
Alternatively, you can use a third-party payment
processor like PayPal for instance. With PayPal, you
do not need a merchant account or even a registered
business for that matter. PayPal is very recognized
and respected, but using PayPal requires that
visitors ultimately make the purchase on PayPal's
site and then get redirected back to your site once
the transaction is complete.
- What about security?
If you will be collecting sensitive information such
as credit card numbers on your website, security is
very important. Otherwise, hackers can see the
credit card information passing through the
Internet. To avoid this, you use something called a
Secure SSL Certificate which encrypts all
information between the server and your customer's
web browser.
Secure SSL Certificates can be purchased from
Verisign,
Thawte, and many more companies. Prices can
range be as much as a few hundred dollars, and there
are annual renewal fees that typically apply as
well. Godaddy.com
is now offering Secure SSL Certificates for under
$30 per year.
Please note that if you are processing payments
using a third-party payment processor like
PayPal, you don't necessarily need SSL security
on your website because the order will be placed on
PayPal's secure site.
- Are there additional fees involved for
processing online payments?
If you have a merchant account, you have already
negotiated fees with your bank. However, you may
also use a payment gateway that makes it easier to
process payments on your website, helps protect you
from online credit card fraud, and provides detailed
reporting and virtual terminal capabilities.
Gateways typically charge between $15 to $40 per
month and sometimes apply a cost per transaction fee
as well. We can help you make the best choices for
your needs and budget.
If you are using a third-party payment processor
like PayPal, there aren't any monthly fees...but the
per transaction fees are higher. This can be a good
starting point if you will begin with a lower
transaction volume or want to start simple. You can
always upgrade to a merchant account and/or gateway
when you are ready.

Sales Copy Writing Questions
- What is sales copy writing, and do I really need
it?
Sales copy is the wording on your website that
explains your products and services in a persuasive
yet informative way to your target audience. The
goal is to focus on benefits and provide answers you
know customers will need before they can make a
purchase. If executed correctly, well-written sales
copy can dramatically reduce your sales cycle and
often capitalize on impulse buying.
In addition, sales copy should be written in a
search engine friendly manner. We optimize your
sales copy for search engines and your target
audience. This can help your sales information rank
higher in search engines and puts your website
directly in front of your best prospects.
Sales copy isn't "required", but it is another
element that will impact the profitability of your
website.
- Do you write copy for all of my pages, or just a
few key pages?
We generally write one long sales letter focused on
your key product or service, but there are instances
where it makes sense to approach the sales copy
slightly differently.
The rest of the copy on the site is generally search
engine optimized versions of draft content you
provide us, or we can simply use the exact content
you provide without performing any search engine
optimization. You are always in control.
- Why do you recommend long copy for sales pages?
We recommend long copy because you need quite a bit
of content to take the user through the mental
decision making process that short-circuits the
sales cycle and allows more immediate action. In
addition, longer sales copy doesn't distract the
reader by forcing them to jump to other pages.
There are many myths about website content needing
to be short, bulleted, etc. The truth is that there
are different types of website content. When a
visitor comes to your website by typing in the words
"Affordable Widget", they are looking to BUY! But to
do so, you need to tell them about the benefits,
differentiate your widgets, establish credibility,
give an overview of the features, create urgency and
value, and finally request that the user take
immediate action (contact you or make a purchase.)
No matter what you might have heard about people
rarely reading long pages on the Internet, let us assure
you that a long sales letter will outsell a typical
product/service webpage every time and by as much as 400%.
Now, you can't create a long sales letter for every
single product or service on your site...that just
won't work. So there are a few strategies to
consider depending on the type and number of
products and services you are selling.
Please keep in mind that an effective sales letter
takes time to write. Depending on product/service
complexity and sales letter writing experience, a
single letter can take from one day to two weeks to
complete.

Package if you don't need eCommerce capabilities.

- How do I Subscribe or Unsubscribe?

field, and enter your Email Address in the email
address field, and press submit. That's all there is

Pricing/Payment Questions
- How much do you charge for your services?
Fast Internet Success charges between $65 to $85 per
hour depending on the services and resources
required with price breaks depending on the project
size. Once we understand the services you require,
we provide you with a flat fee for your project so
you know exactly how much your project will cost.
For existing clients that require over 20 hours of
enhancements to their project, we can optionally
bill the precise hours required once the work is
complete.
If you've looked around a bit, you have probably
realized that most firms don't provide their pricing
information. We believe in being very up front with
our clients (plus, we have great pricing!) We are
able to reduce costs for our clients because we have
steady projects and because we have taken measures
to reduce all aspects of our own costs.
- Do you have a "minimum" project size?
Our minimum project size for new clients is $800, we
can do smaller add-ons or enhancement projects for
existing clients.
- Do you require full payment up-front?
We require 50% up front and the balance upon
satisfactory completion for all projects under
$10,000.
We allow a payment structure of 30% up front, 30%
upon major milestone, and balance upon satisfactory
completion for all projects priced at $10,000 and
above.
We are able to provide net-30 terms for existing
clients when the enhancements don't exceed $2,000.
- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept checks or wire transfer.
- Do you have a "Guarantee"?
We guarantee your satisfaction by working on your
project until we have met all project requirements
and received your approval. In addition, we
guarantee our work for a minimum of 6 months from
project completion. That means that if you
experience any future issues that weren't
uncovered during testing, we will promptly fix it
for you at no charge.
